Hello dear readers! I’m currently preparing for a solo exhibition in Tokyo with Kitamura camera. They have an awesome new space in Shinjuku and I’m one of the first ones to be exhibiting there— a real treat.
It’s been a long, long process and it’s coming towards… some kind of ending. Let’s hope it’s a good one. If you are reading this and happen to be in Tokyo, please let me know! The official press release isn’t out yet sadly, but it'll be October 6-20th. The more of you that come, the better of course ;)
If you‘ve been following me over on Instagram, you might see that I’m in the process of putting everything together. And… it’s not only taking lots of time, but it’s been costing… a lot.
Let’s cut to the chase…
So this time, I decided to do exclusive presale offers for the readers of this Substack! This way, wether you are seeing the exhibit or not, you can partake, and also contribute to make it an even better show.
All Substack readers will get 10% off your purchase from the price list below. And as a bonus, if you purchase a piece I will give you a private tour of the show if requested. If you’re not in Japan, I will give you a private tour via video.
tldr: I’m selling original exhibition pieces that are 1/1s. This will be shipped to you after the exhibition finishes. This means, Substack readers (you) have a first go at purchasing the piece that you want, even before exhibition sales are open. In addition, I’ve prepared 2 print sets from the exhibit that come at a cheaper price.
Email me at ulyssesaoki@magnusinc.studio with your request, with the title “Hey from Shoot!”, or message me through whatever means suit you best.
I have redacted the full images from the price list to avoid too many spoilers. If you are interested I can send you the full price list with images.
Being this transparent with the process, pricing, details is… perhaps a very new concept in the art industry but I thought this would be interesting. Hey, hope it entertains people.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best,
Ulysses
Hi all, I'm bringing the price down to $350 for the print set including shipping. Didn't receive orders yet and since I'm trying to fund the exhibit... Now at an edition of 7.
Congrats! Hope the exhibition goes well
